Use of Information and Communication Technology in Agriculture
 . Commercialization of agriculture
· Ensuring assessment of farmers' information needs.
· Develop quality extension programs.
· Development of training materials for farmers and technical staff.
· To report all the problems that DA is not able to solve at the block level to other subsidiary organizations or experts of the district through TACC.
· Maintaining linkages with farmers' associations and other organizations at the upazila level including suppliers of agricultural inputs, marketers of agricultural products.
Providing quality advice to Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officers on crop diversification, extension methods, supply of inputs and credit and transfer of technology to farmers etc.
· Assisting Sub Assistant Agriculture Officers in various events at field level (eg Farmers' Rally, Field Day, Promotional Tour).
· To plan and implement upazila level extension activities (eg – agricultural fairs, farmer training).
· Liaising and coordinating work with other extension service providers through TACC
Management and coordination of SEMS and CAP at upazila level.
· Ensuring attendance of at least one senior officer in DEPC and other meetings.
· Upazila budget management and ensuring timely accounting.
· Collecting urgent emergency information and other information from Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officers and sending it to district, region or headquarters in proper form.
